Rex Begonia

This plant is a member of the Begonia family but does not produce the type of flowers one is usually accustomed to. Instead, the beauty lies in the foliage - see picture. We have a selection of Rex Begonia either with variegated green foliage and bright red & hairy stems or burgundy leaves: either way, these are eye-catching plants. Rex Begonias enjoy general room temperatures and slightly cooler at night; keep out of direct sunlight; the higher the humidity, the better - the bathroom should be perfect, or perhaps the kitchen. These are available in their grow pots or with ceramic pot cover. Each plant is different but as an idea, the over-all diameter is approx. 9"w x 9"h.
