Rattlesnake Calathea is tropical evergreen perennial native to Brazil, commonly grown as an indoor houseplant., The plant, as the picture shows, provides an impressive display from the distinctive foliage with a wavy pattern along the edges and variegated with shades of greens. Even the undersides of the foliage are eye-catching with their beautiful purplish-red tones. As with many tropical plants, they require bright but in-direct light with temperatures between 65-75F and ideally humid air - ideal for bathrooms and kitchens. Our plants are approx. 14" in diameter and 17" high. It is truly a lovely plant.
